I will be a/an . .”在以前的学习中学生已经接触到了有关职业的话题以及一些常用的职业单词,所以在这节课中重点词汇主要是一些书上和班上学生所反馈的新的职业单词。二、学情分析 我所教的这批
2、五年级学生接受能力特别强,遇到问题都很有自己的想法。但他们不是很喜欢用英语去表达他们的所见与所想,所以在课堂上我经常想办法鼓励他们开口去说。学生们的英语水平两极分化特别严重,在课堂上积极地学生特别积极,沉默的学生也特别的沉默,所以如何让每个学生在课堂上都能有所收获也是老师经常要思考的问题。三、教学目标1. 能听懂、会说询问他人未来从事何种职业的交际用语“What will you be in the future? I will be .”2. 能听懂、读出、说出单词 a professor, a pilot, a dentist, an artist, a barber, 并能在谈论未来将要
3、从事的职业时加以运用。3. 能初步运用一般将来时与同学、朋友询问和谈论未来从事的职业。四、教学重、难点(一)教学重点1.能听懂、会说询问他人未来从事何种职业的交际用语“What will you be in the future? I will be .”2.词汇a professor, a pilot, a dentist, an artist, a barber的认读和运用。(二)教学难点1.情景语句的理解如“You should study hard to be a professor.”2.在恰当的语境中综合运用本课所学语言谈论自己和朋友将来的职业。五、教学准备PPT,职业单词卡片六、
4、教学过程(一): Review and new input 5minutes1. Greetings : T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Teacher.2. Talking about family photos: Would you like to see sbs family photo?( the photos of the students in the class)Then ask the student of the photo to use these sentences to introduce the p
5、hoto(T reads it first.) This is sbs family. There are five people in the family. This is my mother. She is a housewife. This is my father. He is an engineer. This is my sister/borther. .3. Review the words of works: Fast reactionT shows the pictures of words, the students say the words as quickly as
6、 they can.设计意图:选用班上同学的照片进行家庭成员及父母的职业的介绍,激发孩子们对所学英语知识运用的积极性,通过复习前面第五单元及以前所学习的内容为这节课的新内容打好知识性的基础。(二): Listen, look, and learn 15minutes1. Jobs in the future and the story of teachers career plan:T: When I was young, I thought I would be a teacher in the future. 2. New Words : a polite, a dentist, an a
7、rtist, a barber, a writer, an actor/ actress etc.(According to students future jobs to add some careers words.)Read follow T according to PPT. Then Bomb Game to practice the words quickly.3. Free talking: I will be a/an . in the future . (Practice in groups, after which T will invite some students t
8、o share their jobs in the feature.)T: What will you be in the future? (T will be the reporter from CCTV)S: I will be a/an . in the future .设计意图:首先教师回忆自己小时候梦想的职业,再引发学生对自己将来所要进行的职业的思考,紧密联系生活的实际情况进行英语知识的运用。通过同理心激发学生们运用英语表达的动力,在课堂开始时候先突破本课重点句型的运用问题。在学生们的表达环节设置一个记者采访的方式,增添一点趣味性和一些仪式感。(三): Listen and say
9、20minutes 1. Listen and answer the questions. (Twice, one questions each time)What will Mike be in the future?What will Baobao be in the future?2. Explain the dialogue by pictures and gestures(1) Picture1: T: What are Baobao and Mike doing?S: They are looking at the model planes. T: What are they ta
10、lking about:S: They are talking about what Mike will be in the future.T: What will Mike be in the future?S: Mike will be a pilot.T: Yes. He will fly a plane or a space ship. He can make fantastic model planes. (T explains these sentences with gestures and pictures on PPT.0(2) Picture2: T: What will
11、Baobao be in the future? S: He will be a professor in the future. (T shows the famous professors photo to make sure that the students can understand the meaning of professor.)T: Yes.
