1、语法 名词宽城职教中心 葛金艳名词一、名词复数 不可数名词：表示不能用数目计算的事物名称的词，无单复数形式之分。(一)一些专有名词、物质名词和抽象名词为不可数名词。1.专有名词：Guangzhou,Karl Marx,the United States 等。2.物质名词：glass,paper,wood,iron,coal,rice,meat,water,oil,rain,sunshine 等。3.抽象名词：advice,information,health,victory,happiness,friendship,homework,darkness 等。(二)某些学科名称的词一般用作单数，为

2、不可数名词。如：physics,politics,math,economics 等。可数名词单数形式变成复数形式可数名词：能用数目计算的事物名称的词，有单、复数形式之分。可数名词单数形式变成复数形式的变化规律如下：1.一般情况下直接加 s。如：books,desks 尾音读s;girl girls,teacher teachers 尾音读z。2.在以 s,x,ch,sh 结尾的单词词尾加 es。如：box boxes,class classes,bus buses,watch watches,brush brushes 等，尾音读iz,但 stomach 的复数是 stomachs。3.以辅音

3、字母加 y 结尾的单词，变“y”为“i”加 es。如：factory factories,city cities,baby babies,family families 等，尾音读iz。4.以辅音字母加o 结尾的单词，在词尾加es。如：hero heroes,tomato tomatoes,potato potatoes 等，尾音读z。但photo 的复数形式是photos。可数名词单数形式变成复数形式5.以f 或 fe 结尾的单词，词尾变 f 或 fe 为v 加 es。如：wife wives,knife knives,leaf leaves 等，尾音读vz。但：roof roofs,chi

4、ef chiefs 等直接加s,尾音读fs。6.有些词是单复数同形的。如：deer,sheep,Chinese,Japanese 等。7.有些词只有复数形式，如：people,police,cattle 等。8.有些词变化特殊。如：tooth-teeth,foot feet,child children ,mouse mice 等。二、名词的所有格1.在名词前加介词 of 表示所属，如：the windows of the house,the title of the story,the students of our school 等。2.在名词词尾加“s”表示所属，如：Helens doc

5、tor,Childrens Day,my father in laws car,a dogs tail,Chinas population,the earths surface,todays newspaper等。3.以s 结尾的复数名词在其词尾加“”表示所属，如：ladies hats,teachers office,students reading room,workers union,two hours walk,five dollars worth 等。名词的所有格4.两个人共有某物时的所属形式，如：Mary and Toms parents,Tom and Jacks car。5.两
