4、I havent found a permanent job yet.First,I was a teacher in a Language Center at McGill,and afterwards I taught English in a French school.Two years ago,I was offered an opportunity at a big company,and I jumped at it.I was hired as a secretary.However,I only worked there for one year.Li:How comes?S

5、usan:Too much work to do there.I was absolutely snowed under with work.I couldnt do the work in regular working hours;very often I had to work overtime,so I gave it up.Li:Im sorry to hear that.What are you going to do next?Susan:Well,I went to Quebec City for an interview a few days ago.I applied fo

6、r a position in the Quebec Museum.Im now waiting for a response.But I think my age,sex and my poor French work against me.Li:Why dont you come to China to teach English?Susan:Thats a good idea,Li.You know Im very interested in Chinese culture,so please keep me posted about any job opportunities!Li:Absolutely.Ive got some information about our language institute in my hotel.Drop in any time and Ill show it to you.Susan:Thanks a lot,Li.Ill visit you tonight.I think teaching English in China will be a new experience for me.
