1、课程理论与实践About the Early Years Foundation Stage 1. In Childcare Act 2006,the government converted that commitment into law ,and orders and regulations.It means that Childcare Act will bring it into force from September 2008. 2. The government’s 10-year strategy is The Early Years Foundation Stag
2、e(EYFS).It deliver improved outcomes for children and helps chose the achievement gap between disadvandage children and others. 3. All early years providers who must register will have a key role to play in delivering the framework ,supporting individual childern’s development and enabling mos
3、t children to achieve the Early Learning Goals at the end of The Early Foundation Stage. 4. EYFS has an important role to play in helping children achieve all five of the Every Child Matters outcomes. To stay safe ,be healthy,enjoy ,achieve and make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-
4、being in the future. 5. The framework specifies both the requirements for learning and development and those for children’s welfare from birth to five. 6. This document is intended principally for those engaged inplanning for,inspecting and monitoring the effectiveness of early years provision
5、. 1.2 Principles underpinning EYFS 7. EYFS of the content is familiar to practitioners previously using these frameworks.
