2、owboy, have a gift for, within, border, slight, slightly, acre, urban and so on. 教学目标 1。使学生能够正确地朗读并掌握所学词汇的中文意思 2。通过创设语境与习题练习相结合的方法掌握重点单词的音、形、义、用 3。对学生进行从语境中猜测词意这一词汇学习方法的初探； 4。教授构词法的基本知识，培养学生词汇生成能力，拓宽词汇量 5。结合词汇教学和文章理解，使学生理解该篇文章的大致内容。 教学重点 使学生通过阅读掌握词汇 教学难点 使学生掌握词汇学习的方法并培养词汇学习的兴趣 教学方法 任务型教学 课前准备: 我事先根据

3、高考词汇要求及词汇的使用频率对该篇文章出现的28个词汇进行分类分组，分为只读词汇，认知词汇和运用词汇。针对不同级别不理不同的学生或频度的词汇采用不同的策略。分组如下 Group A: baggage, continent, harbour, eagleborder, acre Group B: eastward, westward, upward Group C: chat, scenery Group D: surround, measure Group E: rather than, settle down, manage to do, catch sight of, have a gif

4、t for Group F: aboard, within, slight, slightly, urban Group G: A the Rocky Mountains, 教学过程 Step 1: lead-in: Brainstorm Q1: Do you like travelling? Q2: What words will you think about when I refer to the word“ trave|”? Ss brainstorm the words and write them down.( ID card, paport, camera, notebook,

5、map, jet lag, sports shoes 设计思路：用头脑风暴游戏导入新课，开拓学生思路并为接下来的词汇学习做准备 Step 2: Learning about Group A: baggage ，continent, harbour, eagle, border, acre Make Ss recognize the pronunciation Then, learn these words by gueing and paraphrasing 设计思路：此组均为名词，掌握其音、形即可。通过使用根据英语释义的方法猜单词使单词学习不再枯燥乏味，反而很有趣，很刺激，对学生的学习积极性

7、 inward(s)和 outward( So, eastward meansto the east How about upward?- To the upper place 设计思路：利用构词法学单词，寻找并总结构词规律，既有利于提高学习效率，又能拓展词 Step 4： Learn the new words in Group C New words: view, scenery ,sight Note: Summarize the differences among scenery, view, sight, scene View：多指从远处或高出等某个角度所看见的“景物，景致”。 sc

8、ene：除表示“景物、景致”外，还有“场面”之意，大多包括人及人的活动在内。 sight：指人们游览观光的风景，特别值得一看的景物，也可指“情景；景象；视力”。 Do Exercises 设计思路：因不能区分同义词之间的语义差异，也是造成学生使用单词出错的原因。通过同义或近义词的词义辨析，使学生弄清楚雹词，从而提高学生活学活用的能力 2.Group D: surround, measure Notes：surround vt。&V包围，围绕 常用于被动语态 be surrounded by measure：V。&vt。测量，衡量，判定n。计量制，尺寸，措施 measure sth。 by st
