1、2023年考研英语翻译的解题技巧 考研英语翻译的解题技巧 随着考研英语的时间越来越近，我们在复习翻译题的时候，需要把握好解题技巧。我为大家细心预备了考研英语翻译的解题方法，欢迎大家前来阅读。 考研英语翻译技巧之代词 英语和汉语在很多场合下都使用代词，但比较而言，汉语要少得多。这是因为汉语中的许多代词往往都被省略掉，或者是重复原出名词。而英语代词在语篇中使用频率远远高于汉语代词，有人称代词、非人称代词、关系代词等等。这往往给考生带来不小的困惑。因此在翻译中代词翻译的难点在于敏捷地还原出代词在文中指代的意义。这里通过真题例句，重点讲解考研中常考的四类代词的译法。 一人称代词及物主代词的指代 【真题

2、例句】 Additional social stress may also occur because of the population explosion or problems arising from mass migration movements-themselves made relatively easy nowadays by modern means of transport. 【解析】 从结构来看，该句because of 的后边接两个名词短语the population explosion和problems arising from mass migration mov

3、ements-themselves made relatively easy nowadays by modern means of transport来表示缘由。其中，第二个名词短语又含有一个短语themselves made relatively easy nowadays by modern means of transport,来补充说明mass migration movements。因此，这里的代词themselves 指代名词短语mass migration movements。 【参考译文】由于人口的猛增或大量的人口流淌现代交通工具使这种流通变得相对简单造成的种种问题也回对社会

4、造成新的压力。 二不定代词的指代 【真题例句】 While there are almost as many definitions of history as there are historians, modern practice most closely conforms to one that sees history as the attempt to recreate and explain the significant events of the past. 【解析】 不定代词one 指代名词短语definition of history。在这里one 和物主代词及人称代词在

5、指代名词方面有所不同, one 指代上文出现的名词的同类名词，其中，one 表示单数，ones表示复数;而物主代词及人称代词必需指代上文中出现的名词本身，所以单复数必需一致。比方这里若要用人称代词，则必需用they/them来指代上文中复数形式的definitions of history。 【参考译文】几乎每个历史学家对史学都有自己的界定，但现代史学家的实践最趋向于认为历史学是试图重现过去的.重大史实并对其作出解释。 三指示代词的指代 【真题例句】 Everybody has a responsibility to the society of which he is a part and

6、through this to mankind. 【解析】 这里的this指代前面的a responsibility to the society，假如只是译成"这个"，则会造成语义不明。在to mankind之前省去了Everybody has a responsibility to。 【参考译文】每个人都对他所属的社会负有责任，并且通过对社会负责任，而对人类负有责任。 考研英语独立主格 独立主格结构在整个句子中的功能就相当于一个自带主语的状语从句。众所周知，非限定性从句通常以主句的某一成分作为自己的规律主语，从而依附于主句。而有些非限定性从句和无动词从句带有自己的主句。

7、而有些非限定从句和无动词从句中带有自己的主语，在结构上与主句不发生关系，因此成为独立主格结构。 独立主格七大类型 1.名词代词+不定式 Nobody to come later , we will not continue to wait. 假如一会儿没有人来，我们就不等了。 2.名词代词+如今分词 We shall go to the beach to enjoy our holiday , weather permitting. 明天假如天气好，我们就去海边度假。 3.It being+名词代词 It being the Spring Festival , the shops were c

8、losed . 由于过年，商店都关门了。 4.There being+ 名词代词 There being nothing else to do , Tom had no choice but to sleep. 没有别的事情可做，汤姆除了睡觉别无选择。 5.名词代词+过去分词 The last having gone , Tom had to call a taxi. 最终一班公车已经走了，汤姆只能打的了。 6.The terrorists dashed in , AK-47 in hand. 恐怖分子们端着冲锋枪冲了进来。 7.名词代词+形容词或副词 Tom sat at the table

9、 , collar off , head down , and pen in position , ready to begin the long letter. 汤姆坐在桌前，衣领已经解开，头低了下来，那好钢笔，预备开始写一封长信。 状语从句与独立主格互换 1.时间状语 The winter coming , the migratory birds fly to the south. 冬天来了，候鸟们飞往南方。 解析：The winter coming 相当于when the winter is coming. 2.表示条件 The weather raining , we will not

10、 picnic. 假如下雨，我们就不去野餐了。 3.表示缘由 You giving someone a phone call , I stumbled. 因为你打了一个电话，所以我搬到了。 解析：You giving someone a phone call 相当于because you gave someone a phone call. 4.表示伴随状况 Almost all metals are good conductors , gold being the best of all . 几乎全部的金属都是良导体，而金子则是最好的导体。 解析：gold being the best of

11、 all 相当于that is to say , each man worked like two. 考研英语语法：平行世界中的平行语法结构 一、平行结构的基本原则 在很多英语句式中，平行结构是延长英文句子的重要因素之一。像简洁的并列连词and, or, but等就有这种类型的含义，它们要求在结构和功能上保持一致。因此运用平行结构的基本原则就是以同类语法形式来表达同类概念，用来表达强调与其、节省用词的修辞效果。真题上的例子有很多：For the time, attention, and money of the art-loving public, classical instrumental

12、ists must compete not only with opera houses, dance troupes, theater companies, and museums, but also with the recorded performances of the great classical musicians of the 20th century. 2023-T1该句就是由not only……but also连接两个with短语，构成的平行结构。再来一句Now the company is suddenly claiming that the

13、2023 agreement is invalid because of the 2023 legislation, and that only the federal government has regulatory power over nuclear issues. 该句中也存在两个that引导的宾语从句。如今，Entergy公司突然发出声明：依据2023年的法规，2023年的协议无效，而且只有联邦政府对核问题具有监管权。 二、构成并列结构的连接词 最熟识的莫过于and了，但是不仅仅只有and, 表示同等关系中的besides副词连接词也是常见。它们所连接的前后句在语法地位上平等一致。

14、这样的词还有and, not only…but also, neither…nor, moreover, furthermore, in addition, what’s more.在2023年阅读第四篇中就有这样一个例子：Americans no longer expect public figures, whether in speech or in writing, to command the English language with skill and gift. Nor do they aspire to such command them

15、selves.这句中是由否认词nor连接的并列句，并且第二个分句还是由nor引导，发生了倒装结构。另外，由either…or…, otherwise, or else,等表示选择的连接副词连接的句子，表达的是一种选择关系。 还有就是表示转折的并列连词，如but, yet, however, while, whereas,not…but等。真题例句：The process is not the road itself, but rather the attitudes and feelings people have, their caution or

16、courage, as they encounter new experiences and unexpected obstacles. 这里就是一个由not…but连接的表示转折关系的并列句。 最终一种熟识的并列结构就是因果并列句。这种句子通常由so, therefore为代表。Often it’s the delivery which causes the audience to smile, so speak slowly and remember that a raised eyebrow or an unbelieving look may help to

17、show that you are making a light-hearted remark.该句中就是由so连接的两个并列句。 另外需要留意一点就是许多副词也有连接的含义，但是它们并不能连接句子，只能由分号或者and连接。例如：She felt very tired; therefore she went to bed early. 三、平行并列结构中的一致性问题 在平行结构中，为了使句子前后保持平衡，句中的并列成分应当在结构上保持一致性。The instrument has been welcomed by user because of its stability in service
