If you park your car in the wrong place, a traffic policeman will soon find it。一旦你把汽车停错地方，交通警察很快就会发现. park表示暂时把车辆停放或存放在某个特定的地方 对于集体名词,如police， party， crowed， family ，team, committee等，谓语动词视情况而定.若集体名词被看成一

7、个整体，则用单数谓语.若集体名词被看成是由具体若干成员组成的，则用复数谓语.The committee was made up of ten members。这个委员会由10名成员组成。The committee are not of one opinion.这个委员会没有统一的意见。2. You will be very lucky if he lets you go without a ticket。如果他没给你罚款单就放你走了，算你走运.lucky 幸运的 unlucky不幸的 luck 运气let 使役性动词 let sb。 do sth.让某人做某事eg：Dont let this

8、happen again.别让此事再次发生.let 表示建议或命令Lets go to the park我们到公园去吧.let alone更不用说,更别提eg: He cant ride a bike, let alone a motorbike。他都不会骑自行车，更别提摩托车了。 without prep.没有 without doing sth.eg: I cannot live without you.没有你我活不下去。eg: You cannot go without paying the bill。没有付账的话，你不能走。3. However， this does not alway

9、s happen。然而情况并不都是这样。however: 转折副词，作插入语，用逗号与其他成分隔开。but并列连词eg： later， however, he made up his mind to go。可是，后来他决定去了。4. 12、你是不会不遵照命令的。英语中的第二人称you诗泛指，有“任何人”之意。eg: You are not allowed to smoke here。此地不许抽烟。 fail to do 不能,没有eg： We waited half an hour, but the bus failed to arrive.我们等了半小时，但公交车没有来。 【Grammar】语法学习if 引导的条件状语从句if引导的条件从句指能够发生、可能发生或可能发生过的事件。如果认为将来的事件很可能会发生，那么if从句中要用一般现在时(有时也用其他形式的现在时）,主句中用will(或shall）加动词形式或其他形式的将来时

13、。构成：If + ， Ill / youll + 条件 结果if:如果 . 引导条件状语从句.“主将从现”.“主将从现”的其它句型：as soon asnot untilwhen； before， after1)。 if从句中的动词用一般现在时,主句中的动词用一般将来时。主句和从句的位置可互换.2）。 如果要用从句表达将来的意思，也只能用一般现在时，而绝不用将来时的形式。eg。 If it rains tomorrow, Ill stay at home. 3)。 A. 从句中可以用现在进行时，表示现在的行为或将来的安排， eg. If he is working, I shall not d

B. if从句也可用情态动词， eg。 He will come tomorrow if he can. eg： If he is out， Ill call tomorrow. 如果他不在的话，我明天再打电话吧.eg： Youll miss the train if you dont hurry. 要是你不抓紧时间的话，你会错过火车的。eg： If he is working, I wont disturb him。 要是他在工作的话，我就就不打扰了.eg: If I have time, Ill be writing to him tomorrow。 要是我有时间，

15、我明天给他写信。有时主句助于可以省略：（祈使句)eg： If you make a mistake, correct。如果你犯了错误，改正过来。eg: If you dont like the food， dont eat it。如果你不喜欢这食物,就别吃了。【Exercise】一、用适当的介词填空:1.
