14、yitselectronictextbooks.“Therealobstacleisgettingthemtotryit,”saidTraceyWeber,thecompanysexecutivevicepresident.Thecompanyisgivingaway“CollegeKick-StartKits”tostudentswhodownloadNOOKstudyinthefallsemester,witha dozenclassice-bookslikeTheCanterburyTalesandTheScarletLetter.CourseSmartislettingstudents
15、tryanye-textbookfreefortwoweeks.Butnoteverytextbookisavailableindigitalorrentalformat.At Hamilton,forinstance,onlyaboutone-fifthofthetitlesaresoldase-textbooksthisfall.Astrollthroughthecampusstorerevealedthepricedifference.Abookon constitutionallaw,forinstance,was$189.85new,$142.40usedand$85.45forre
