1、将名著阅读融入高中英语课堂,适应新高考改革 一、高中英语课堂现状 高中英语教学易走进“费时低效”教学怪圈,目前英语教学主要集中于语法练习,背单词和刷题等,单一的教学模式使得学生长期缺乏内在的学习驱动力,对英语学习缺乏兴趣,同时老师的教学内容缺乏人文性和多元文化性,学生对于外来文化一知半解,语言之间的跨文化功能和交际功能缺乏体现。现在,2020 新高考英语改革又增加了英语阅读和英语写作的分值,推出了“读后续写”的新题型,提高了对学生阅读写作能力的要求,使得整体考试难度增加。阅读和写作能力的考核无疑是检测学生外语水平的有效方法,面对新式高考变革而不是“形式”高考,作为教学一线的老师和参与的莘莘学子
2、又该何去何从?二、新高考改革趋势 笔者认为,目前要走出高中英语教学单一重复的怪圈,文学名著阅读是提高英语阅读能力的核心,文学名著阅读是语言学习和文化交流的重要载体,是人类思想和文化的精髓。在高中英语课堂授课有利于提高学生的内在语言学习兴趣,同时培养学生听说读写的基础语言能力,提高学生的人文素养和综合能力。这与帮助学生在高考外语考试中夺得佳绩不谋而合。三、将名著阅读融入高中英语课堂,适应新高考改革 高中课程紧张和学业压力大,学生的课外阅读量远低于课程标准的要求,语言输入主要是靠老师对于重难点词汇的讲解和语法的授课,学生的文化素养和语言能力未得到进一步开发,新高考改革,指向标的作用彰显出对于阅读和
3、写作的重视,因此名著阅读和读后写作乃是顺势之举。笔者想通过“选材-导读-学生自主阅读-课堂讨论-读后续写-多元评价”的方式进行。选材:老师选择阅读文本可以从牛津双语阅读典范英语黑布林英语阅读系列着手。是经典名著的改编简写版,内容精简,故事情节跌宕起伏,易引起读者阅读欲望。中英文互译,精美插图。能引起读者的阅读乐趣。对于高频重难点词汇有注释,能减轻读者的阅读难度,词汇量适中,阅读难度随系列而增加,学生可以根据自身情况而挑选。阅读素材丰富如汤姆叔叔的小屋会飞的男孩等颇受学生欢迎 导读:教师可以通过多媒体方式播放相关由名著改编的相关电影影片,视频和歌曲吸引学生阅读兴趣;亦可通过百度,blog,spa
4、rk notes 等媒体和网站寻找关于书籍的书评,通过客观和犀利的评论给予读者阅读建议;教师还可以通过“射手网”等来挖掘文本和电影片段对白来吸引读者兴趣,开拓学生视野。学生自主阅读:教师可以每周安排阅读时间或者课后布置阅读任务,为了检测学生的阅读成果,学生需要提前划分成不同的小组,小组的每个成员都需要带着组长所分配的阅读任务。经过小组讨论,学生在阅读之后共同绘画出情节发展图(起因-高潮-结局)和人物关系图,需要提前做好 PPT 来展示他们的小组劳动成果和阅读收获。老师可以在学生过讨论过程中采访他们的阅读感受,了解他们的阅读进度和阅读的喜好。阅读小组成员需要充当以下这些角色:leader:把握文
5、章主题,布置好阅读任务并且最后的总结工作。Collector:收集故事中的有趣片段和经典对白,查找重难点词汇,对其中的美篇妙句精心摘抄,进行语篇分析,让学生共同领略语言之美。Linker:深度挖掘故事的现世价值,将故事中的角色与现实生活中人和事件联系起来。分析人物性格和故事情节,挖掘名著小说对于现实世界的参考价值,帮助学生从表层阅读进入深层阅读,培养学生正确的价值观和为人处世之道。Summarizer:通过书评,影评等方式总结概括文章大意。同时也要通过讨论总结每个组员的心得体会。同学们之间通过讨论,帮助学生对文章进行深层次理解,对文章给予客观性评价,这有利于帮助他们读后续写,适应高考改革。相信
