1、古哈是我的家Guha is my home.它表达了我的想法Its the articulation of my mind.作为一个建筑师，我渴望进行试验As an architect； I long for experimentation,将一些东西推向它的极限driving something to its limit和我的极限and to my limit.你也明白我们时间有限吧？You know our time is limited, right?我想确保我们不会浪费时间I want to make sure that we dont waste it.古哈是我的实验室Guha is

16、ete look, 和钢结构所设计而成 steel structures, 当中有很多弯曲的钢材 and a lot of steel bending, 例如圆形的窗 like in the circular windows.通常人们是送去工厂Usually, people send it to the factory 以机器来屈曲它 and bend it by machine, 但我们只用了两个工匠 but we only used two craftsmen. 把钢割一下，再稍微弯曲You cut it and you bend it a bit, 再割一下，让它稍微弯曲一点 you c

28、在吃木瓜Hey, look, hes eating the papaya all by himself!我利用生物气候建筑来设计这间屋I designed this home using bioclimatic architecture.生物气候的意思是Bioclimatic meaning在家里面创造一个健康的微气候creating a healthy microclimate inside your home.重点在于能源和水的效率Its all about the efficiency of the energy and water, 还有我们过滤阳光的方法也很重要and the way

29、 we can filter the sunlight is very important. 种植更多的树让我们有更多遮荫By adding more trees, we can get good shading.除此之外，我们也需要风压Other than that, we need a wind pressure going on, 所以我们开启了两个系统so we open up into two systems.十字通风和烟囱效应Cross ventilation and a stacking effect.我们用了容许十字通风的百叶窗We have Naco glass, which

30、 allows cross ventilation.空气向上流入尖顶Then the air flows up into the spires,就会造成烟囱效应which is the stacking effect.而那里有个洞And there is a hole洞口由大渐渐变小from the big to thin openings,所以我们也得到风压so we get like a wind pressure, 以降低温度and it cools down the weather.屋顶收集了所有雨水The rooftop captures all of the water from

33、ay.这间屋其实更像砌图Its actually more like a puzzle.他想做的就是以空间来实验What he wants to do is just to experiment with space,以建筑来实验experiment with construction, 以这幢建筑物来实验experiment with the building, 然后他尝试找方法让这些局部and then he just tries to find out how to make all of these parts fit跟这种想法配合with that kind of idea.在建筑学

Thats called bricolage.简单来说，拼装就是In a simple way, bricolage means you juxtapose将两种不同的意念或物料并置two different ideas or materials next to each other两者看起来好像不太相关that seem to be not really relevant to one another, 但你总能够从中找到惊喜but there will be an expectation that you will find surprises或者看待事情的新角度

39、or a new way of seeing things.例如利用混凝土作为建筑物的主材料For instance, using concrete as the primary materials of the building, 但当你看到扩建局部but then when you see the extension, 这么多东西是由竹子所建成so many things just, you know, made of bamboo.现在，这样就最能够Right now, that would be the most prominent part表现出拼装that could demons

45、post-colonial country.很多知识是来自西欧And so much knowledge comes from Western Europe, 但有时候这些知识却无法配合我们的环境 but sometimes it just doesnt fit into our own situations. 而这个拼装建筑By having this bricolage architecture, 帮助我们从每个角度去了解整个情况 it helps to understand the situations in every angle, 让我们能批判性地把系统瓦解 and it helps
