3、nd lead to the topic: communication.In your opinion, what is the best way to understand each other?1. Ask more questions about communication:QI: Why communication is so significant?A good relationship starts with communication;Communication一human connection一is the key to personal and career success;
4、Communication is what makes a team strong;Success is led by the power of communication;The silence treatment solves no problem; it only makes more.Q2: Is your communication always effective? What kinds of communication problems have you encountered?First, we sometimes finish off the other persons se
5、ntences or interrupt him or her by saying, “I know exactly what you mean .and then go on to tell him or her our own ideas. We might be correct in guessing the message, but it is not polite to the other person.Second, we arc sometimes not aware of the cultural differences in communication. Nowadays m
6、ost of us live in multicultural societies, and not understanding peoples cultural backgrounds in communication might cause miscommunication or offence.Third, we might not be direct when communicating and fail to provide clarification when necessary. The result is that others could be confused about

Watch the video and figure out Davids and Jacks problem respectively.Davids problem: He never really listens to what Jack

13、e basic tips. First, I should be clear when expressing my ideas, so that people understand me without confusion. Second, I must practise listening skills, because being a good listener is part of being a good communicator. I will try to avoid interrupting or distracting myself with other things. Thi
14、rd, I should appear confident when talking to others, even if I dont actually feel so.
