2、ntation of the cloze test in the Entrance Examination of English.二二.The analysis and introduction of my students performance in solving the cloze test in the current situation.In fact,the students in my class this year are poor in English,let alone the cloze test.In every quiz,the average score of t
3、he cloze is below 8 points,in which the highest is about 10 points and the lowest is approximately 5 points.Although the skills and methods are often mentioned and emphasized,my students dont keep them in mind or perhaps they can not make use of these rules attentively.All the English teachers in ou
4、r school are ready to help collect the cloze tests in the editions in as many fields as possible from many channels.In order to raise efficiency,we should make full use of every period of class adopting different modes of learning methods flexibly.(1)Traditional teaching methods:First,help them to f
5、orm the good habit of concluding the main idea through reading silently and attentionally.Second,help them to pick out the correct answer based on the context.三三.The arrangement of the teaching materials,the selection of the cloze tests,the guidance employed to tutor my students and the measures to
6、be taken in the second round revision period.In order to enable my students to make bigger progress in the cloze test,we should focus on training to enhance their ability in this regard.At every period of class,I will assign two pieces of the cloze for them to work out and spare several minutes to g
7、ive relevant guidance.(2)Gradually give the students with better performance in this regard opportunities to explore the methods boldly and reflect on their reasoning process positively through discussion and cooperation in groups.Then encourage the top students to introduce their experience and met
8、hods,providing advice and suggestions on how to improve the ability.(3)Finally give every student opportunities showcase their competence in solving this kind of exercise independently and confidently.四四.Lets take the cloze test for February as an example to illustrate the basic methods and skills.,
