2、istsAudio and Video materials: TED Talks or other relevant speechesProcedure:Warm-up (15 mins)Introduce the topic of making a difference and ask students to brainstorm what it means to them.Divide students into pairs or small groups to discuss the following questions:What is the most important socia
3、l issue facing your community today?How do you think you can make a difference in addressing this issue?Vocabulary (30 mins)Introduce and explain the key vocabulary from the unit, such as advocate, charity, sustainable, etc.Ask students to work in pairs or small groups to create sentences or short p
4、aragraphs using the vocabulary.Provide handouts with the vocabulary list and examples of sentences for students to refer to.Listening and Speaking (60 mins)Play a TED Talk or other relevant speech related to social issues, such as climate change, poverty, or education.Ask students to take notes whil
5、e listening and prepare a short summary of the speakers main points.Divide students into small groups to discuss the following questions:What is the main message of the speech?How does the speaker suggest making a difference?Do you agree or disagree with the speakers perspective? Why or why not?Have
6、 each group present their summary and answers to the class.Reading and Writing (60 mins)Assign a reading task from the textbook, such as a newspaper article or a story about making a difference.Ask students to read the text and prepare a short summary.Divide students into pairs or small groups to di
