Mr. Robeson patted Kevin on the back gently and explained that absolutely kevins voice was clear and di

22、stinct but Alexander had better team spirit, which was essential to a choir. Seeing Kevins confused expression, Mr. Robeson added that it was cooperation that played a significant role in the performance. Though kevins voicewas perfect, Alexonder could sing better as a member of the choir.4.Then cam

23、e the time for Alexander to sing with his group. With his heartand gathering all his courage, he began to sing. At first, his heart was in his throat and he could feel the sweat beading down his face. To his relief, he soon found the beat and immersed himself in the music. His voice was integrated i

Cooperation comes first.7.Then came the time for Alexander to sing with his group.Though Alexander felt a little bit discouraged after hearing Kevins groups performance, he decided to give it a shot and at least leave no regret.

Mr. Robeson explained that sometimes the ability to coorperate with others was more important than individuals breathiaking performance, especially when in the City Choir. Eventually, he gradully held back anxiety and uneasiness, encouraging and cheering his campanions greatly. No sooner had Mr. Robeson signaled the four boys, who were well prepared

In Mr. Robesons eyes, it was their firm and joint voice that made them unique and extraordinary. Several minutes later, everyone had a break and it was time for Mr. Robeson to evaluate ancl choose.

39、Finally Mr. Robeson told Alexander that he made it, not Kevin.As it happened, everyone on the stage was in shock, with doubtful looks on their faces. It was then that Mr. Robeson cleared his throa and made a suitable explanation, disrupting discussion about unfairness. He announced in a powerful voi

40、ce that Kevin was truly an excellent singer but the true meaning of a choir was team spirit, instead of individualism.
