3、事（家里）不允许我11点以后在外面逗留。I wasnt allowed to stay out after 11 oclock.我被获准这个周末去和同学们野餐。I was allowed to have a picnic with my classmates this weekend.（5）allow还可与某些介词连用，构成固定短语。如：allow for sb/ sth. 将计算在内，考虑到，估计到allow of sth. 容许，使有可能如：所用的因素必须考虑到。All these factors must be allowed for.这些事实只有一种解释。The facts allow
