1、船长面试问题及参考答案船长是船上最重要的职位，也是各方面要求最高的职位。船东在面试船员时对船长的考核最认真，最浪费时间，也是最复杂的。作为一名合格的船长，不但要求有丰富的海上工作经历、娴熟的船舶驾驶经验技术，更要有很好的商务操作能力、领导管理能力、极佳的个人人品、强大的人格魅力和感召力。还要勤于动脑、身体力行，在所有船员面前树立典范。船东在进行面试时，往往提问船长的问题最多，也最复杂，考察的时间也最长。提问船长的问题涉及到国际安全管理规则、安全管理体系、船长资历、船舶管理、各种具体商务和技术问题等等。下面收集了一部分面试试题，供广大面试船长参考。其中的部分问题，不但船长必备，其他干部船员，尤其

18、n.The contents may include the watch-keeping duties forthe officers,when to ask for order from the master,the port entryprocedure,and how to deal with emergency situations 1 ike oil pollution,fire disaster,collision,grounding,as wel1 as when to call the master tothe bridge,and so on.For special vess

29、draft plan.Then the Master is supposed to check it very carefully.Ifsomething wrong is found in the passage plan,the Master should ask theSecond Officer to correct it immediately.If nothing is wrong about thedraft,the plan shall be ratified and implemented.When the Second Officer is making the draft

30、 plan,the Master should helpprovide some important information sources for the Second Officer,such asthe port entry guidance,the sailing directions,lists of lights,tidalstream tables,deep draught vessel planning guide,the IMO ship routeguidance,government and port authority s regulations,pilot chart

33、tion,I must prepare such publications as currently corrected navigational charts,US costal pilot guide,light list book,light list book,tide tables,USinland rules of navigation,and recent notice to mariners.Forty-eight hours prior to entry to a US port,I shall conduct the followingemergency steering

34、drills and log them into the record books:operation ofthe main steering gear from steering compartment,communication betweenbridge and steering compartment,and alternative power supply.I shall alsoinform the Qualified Individual of my arrival.Twenty-four hours before arrival in a US port,I shall not

39、PAcouldn,t be activated since the power supply was out of work.The USCG onlyallowed us a few hours to repair it.To their satisfaction,the ARPA wasback to normal after only one hour.Luckily we didn t have any fine imposedon us.I understand from this experience that good preparations in advanceare ver

40、y important.Even if there is a problem,I will ask my crew torectify it in the least possible time.18.How should the pre-departure seminar be conducted in the port?According to my experience,a safety meeting shall be held prior todeparture and some of the important issues like the un-berthing operati

41、on(including the deck and engine room),cargo&hull lashing check,stowawaycheck,cooperation with the pilot and other engineering(technical)mattersshould be discussed at the meeting.19.Why should the Master always be aware of the actions being taken bythe pilot?Well,it s because the presence of the pil
