1、Unit 4 Natural Disasters 定语从句(Attributive Clause)Restrictive relative clauses with relative pronouns关系代词引导的定语从句I.Revision定语:对名词或代词起修饰限定作用的成分叫做定语定语。定语从句:在主从复合句中，修饰句中某名词或代词，充当这一名词或代词的定语的句子，叫作定语从句定语从句。被修饰的名词或代词叫先行先行词词，引导定语从句的词叫作引导词引导词。1.找到两个句子中相同的名词，用2句修饰1句的名词2.将2句放于1句被修饰词之后，并用that连接1句和2句。3.去掉2句中相同的名词

2、合成的步骤：例子：The book is very interesting.I bought the book yesterday.The book(that I bought the book yesterday)is very interesting.The book that I bought yesterday is very interesting.1.起连接作用(连接主从句，连接先行词和定语从句)2.代替作用(代替从句中相同的名词=先行词)3.在定语从句中担当成分 II.引导词的功能：引导词的分类：引导词把先行词与定语从句连到一起，使之产生定语的关系，称为关系词关系词。1.关系代词
