They blew out the candle and tried to sleep.Gretel: Whats that noiseHansel: Sorry, its my tummy. I was thinking of chocolate and marshmallows（棉花糖）. Gretel: Oh dont. Im so hungry and I cant sleep.

The children will have to go.Father: WhatStepmother: Do you have a better ideaFather: How has it come to thisStepmother: Tomo

5、rrow, Well take them in the forest with little bread, and leave（留） them there.Father: But I cant leave in the forest! The wild animals will kill them.Stepmother: You must! And youll never know-someone may find them and take them home.Narrator: The poor father was afraid of his wife. He said nothing.

6、 The children were in bed and heard their father and step mother said.Gretel: Im scared. What are we going to doHansel: Dont worry. Im sure God will take care of us.Fairy: Dont be scared, Hansel and Gretel. Let me help you.Hansel and Gretel: Thank you, kind fairy.Narrator: Quietly Hansel went outsid

7、e and filled with pockets with small white stones. When morning came, they pretended(假装) they knew nothing.Father: Today we are going deep into the forest to cut some wood. Get your things. Here is some bread. Put in your pockets.Mother: Hurry up!Narrator: As they walked along. Hansel stopped and lo

When they woke up, it was dark.Gretel: Its dark and Im cold. What will happen to us nowHansel: Cheer up. Well find our way back

So we can follow them back our home.Gretel: How smart you are, Hansel!Narrator: Holding hands, Hansel and Gretel followed stones back to their home. Father was happy and hugg

Why did you stay here Go to your room quickly.Narrator: But the stepmother was very angry. She locked the children in their room. Mot

12、her: Well take them deeper into the forest this time, theyll never find their way out!Father: Please! Dont make me do this. How can leave my children to dieMother: What Do you want us all to starve(饿死)Father: Of course not.Mother: Then shut up.Gretel: Im scared.Hansel: Shhh we are locked and I cant
