1、Module3 Unit1 Festivals and celebrationsReading and thinking Why do we celebrate festivals?Learning about language 教学设计一、 课程类型(课型):词汇课二、 内容分析:本单元的中心话题是节日及其庆祝活动,该课作为阅读语篇Why do we celebrate festivals? 的词汇学习课,重点学习描述节日时间、起源、活动和意义等的英语词汇和短语表达。本节课旨在使学生对中心话题Festivals and celebrations在原有的基础上得到延伸,深化对节日的学习和理解,
2、在特定的语境中学习与节日相关的单词与词块,有助于加深学生对词汇的含义和用法的理解,提高记忆词汇的效率。此外,本节课也旨在将节日文化融入到英语课堂中,提高学生的文化意识,传承优秀传统文化。三、学情分析授课班级为高一年级普通班,经过高中一学期的学习,形成了一定的英语学习习惯,英语的综合语言能力有一定的积累。但班级学生基础仍旧参差不齐,大部分学生的英语基础薄弱,词汇量少,多数学生对传统文化的英文词汇积累不够。四、教学设计理念:借助阅读文本,在阅读语篇的基础上,通过视频、图片和相关介绍来贯穿整节课,在欣赏视频和图片中激活学生学习的兴趣,学习相应的描述节日的英文词汇。最后通过talking and wr
3、iting语言输出活动,正确使用词块和句型,使词汇学习从meaning到form 再到use. 五、教学目标At the end of the class, students can:1. make a list of some words and phrases about festivals; 2. describe a festival from its time,origin,activities and meanings;3. recite some expressions used to describe a festival;4. share their opinions onc
