6、rs old.You can climb up the bigwild goose pagoda.It is over 1300 years old.You can hit the ancient drum in the drum tower.You can also ringthe ancient bell in the Bell tower.You can visit the famous Terra Contra Warriors.They are overXXXX years old!Eat delicious Chinese food and enjoy the special di

9、n they go to the hotel.Later,they go for a walk along the Yellow River.All right.Lets go down this street and turn left at the traffic light.This road will lead us to the Yellow River.Look!A bridge!This is the Lanzhou Zhongshan Bridge.It was the first bridge overthe Yellow River.The Silk Road crosse

19、ibrary and work onour projects.Good idea.Lesson 8:Marco Polo and the Silk RoadHello,everyone!My project is about Marco Polo and the Silk Road.Marco Polo was a man from Italy.At the age of 17,he went to China.He travelled along the Silk Road with his father and uncle.Together,they moved goods between

20、 Europe and Asia on the Silk Road.Later,Marco Polo travelled with his brother.They travelled on boats,horses and camels.Their journey lasted about twenty years!In 1275,Marco Polo Travelled to Beijing.He met the king andworked for him for 17 years.During those years,Marco Polo learnedabout coal and p

21、aper.The Chinese discovered coal and inventedpaper.These things were new to Marco Polo.He brought some coaland paper back to Italy with him.He also brought back a lot of silk,tea and other goods.Marco Polo Wrote a famous book about his travels to China.I hopedto write a book like that someday.Thank
