8、ustria,in 1756.Before the age of four,he hadshown great musical talent.His father then decided to let him start takingharpsichord lessons.The boys reputation as a musical talent grewfast.At five,he was composing music.Form that time on,Mozartwas performing n concerts and writing music.By his early t
9、eens,he had mastered the piano,viol in and harpsichord,and waswriting symphonies and operas.His first major opera wasperformed in Milan in 1770,when he was only fourteen.Atfifteen,Mozart became the conductor for an orchestra inSalzburg.In 1781,he left for Vienna,where he was in greatdemand as both a
10、 performer and a composition teacher.His firstopera was a success.But life was not easy because he was a poorbusinessman,and his finances were always in a bad state.Hismusic from the next decade was not very popular,and heeventually fell back on his teaching jobs for a 1 iving.In 1788he stopped perf

22、and Dr.Patty Hill,the principal ofthe same school,wrote a song together for the children,entitled“Good Morning to All”.When Mildred c o m b in e d hermusical talents with her sisters knowledge in the area ofkindergarten education,Good Morning to All“was sure to be asuccess.The sister published the s
23、ong in a c o llec tio n entitled“Song Stories of the Kindergarten in 1893.Thirty-one yearslater,after Dr.Patty Hill became th e h e a d of the Department ofKindergarten Education at Columbia Universitys TeachersCollege,a gentleman by the name Robert Coleman published thesong,without the sisters5 per
