3、Yang Liwei is Chinas first astronaut. He was a pilot in the army. He was carried by Shenzhou V, thanks for your answer. Sit down please. What else? 4、ship. It lifted off at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15th, 2003 in Jiuquan, Gansu province. It was carrying Yang Liwei. It was launched very successfully and landed in Inner Mongolia safely. Yang Liwei is the Chinas first astronaut. He was chosen form 1,500 other army pilots and started training for
5、his space flight in 1998. During the 21-hour space flight, he circled the earth 14 times. When the spaceship was doing its seventh circle, Yang Liwei showed the flags of China and the United Nations, expressing the wishes of the Chinese people to explore and use space peacefully. There are five parts in my lesson-teaching material, teaching aims, teaching methods, studying methods and teaching pr
14、ocedures. While presenting these parts I will do the blackboard design properly. Ok, lets begin the first part. Part 1 Teaching Material The reading and vocabulary contains 5 partsone text and 4 exercises. The topic of this lesson is “The Magic of the Mask, which concerns about the origins of carniv
15、al. Through this lesson, we will enable the students to know carnival and develop their interest in the festival cultures home and abroad. Besides, the students can improve their reading skills and strategies, and also learn the new words in the context. 缘由: Reading is one of the skills that the stu
16、dents must have. It belongs to the input during the process of language learning, which has great effect on output, such as speaking and writing. In addition, this kind of reading passage takes a big portion, so how to improve the students reading skills and how to raise their awareness of culture b
17、ackground is of great importance. Part 2 Teaching aims教学目标 According to the new standard curriculum and syllabus, the teaching aims of this lesson can be set as follow: 1、Knowledge aims: (1) The students can understand the content of the passage, know foreign cultures, and try to describe a Chinese
18、festival in their own words. (2) The students can master the usage of the important words and expressions. 2、Ability aims: (1) To improve the students reading ability, especially the skimming and scanning. (2) To train the students to guess the meaning of new words through the text, and also to extr
19、act and select the important information. 3、Cultural Consciousness (1) To learn the differences between the Chinese festivals and foreign ones. (2) To raise awareness of cross-cultural communication. The Key Points and Difficult Points in my lesson are listed below: Key points in teaching (1) Throug
20、h studying the passage, the students should learn how to get the main idea of the passage, analyze the structure, and obtain useful information. (2) The students should be trained how to do skimming and scanning. The Difficult Points: There is only one. (1) The students in Senior Two are not familia
21、r with the reading skills such as skimming and scanning, so we need to guide them to practice the skills through the reading tasks, for instance, reading the text in limited time. Part 3 Teaching Methods In the Senior High school, to teach English is to increase students abilities, such as reading,
22、writing and speaking. Therefore, I will adopt the following teaching methods: (1)Communicative Approach (交际教学法) (2)Whole Language Teaching (整体语言教学法) (3)Task-based Language Teaching (任务教学法) 整体语言教学法:强调整体。在语言教学中,听、说、读、写是不行分割的整体。 语言要和文化、社区相结合,老师要和学生相结合。学习语言的目的是为了满意学生在现实生活中的真实需要,能够进行有意义的人际沟通,解决生活中的实际问题,而
