2、nagers Magazine. Do you remember them? S:They are Max, May and Betty. T:But do you remember their appearances? Work in pairs to review what they look like with your books closed and then tell me the answers.S:Max is tall, almost 1.75 metres. He wears glasses because of his poor eyesight. And he has

3、long legs. May is small and she has straight, shoulder-length hair. The last one is Betty. She is slim and her hair is short. Good job! You have a good memory and you have remembered their appearances. Now lets look at these words and read them together.Step 2 presentationT: From these words and phr

4、ases, we can learn peoples appearnce. So they are the words and phrases to describe peoples appearance.Do you remember them? Ok, here is a table, I want you to catalogue these words put them into the different parts of peoples appearance.But first, lets know the different parts of peoples appearance

First one is about peoples build (bulid意思是身材); then this part is about peoples height(height意思是身高), next part is about peoples leg and the last one is about peoples hair, in this part, you should notice two points of peoples hair. The first one is about the style of hair (chinese meaning is 头发的款式)

6、 and another part is about the length of hair(头发的长度). Now please work in a group of four to catalogue these words to describe different parts of peoples appearance. (现在就请你们四人一组将这些表示不同外貌特征的单词分类)S:Sswork.T:Have you finished? Lets fill in the table together! We can put tall into Height; word long is fo

7、r leg; word small is for build; word short is for the length of hair; word straight is just for the style of hair and shoulder-length is also for the length of hair. 9、nt some new words for SsT:Look at the picture. What does he look like? S:Yes, he is strong. T:What about this man? Is he strong? S:No, he is not strong. He is thin. T:Lets read these two words after me. Good. These two words can be used to describe build (身材)T: Look at these two pictures. Can you fi

10、nd the difference between these two men? S:One is short, and the other is tall T:Lets read these two words together. Good. And these two words can be used to describe peoples height(身高)T: what about these two pictures? What can you find the difference between their faces? S:The left one has a round

11、face, and the other one has a square face.T:words round and square can be used to describe the shape of peoples faces(round 和square可以用来描述人的脸型)T: The last two pictures. Still are about two peoples faces. This time what can you find the difference? S:One person has big eyes and the other one has small

S:Ss work and answers.Part 5 Homework 第三局部 说明本课时为第一单元的vocabulary. 这一课时目的在于教授与人的外貌特征相关的词汇。通过此局部的学习让学生学会正确使用形容词来描述人物的外貌，并在此根底上做一些拓展，为后面的写作局部打下良好的词汇根底。因此在此课时的处理中可以从对阅读局部人物外貌的复习引入，进而帮助学生归纳出更多有关描述人外部面貌特征的词汇。在教学中可以利用适当的图片作为导入与输入，学生的小组活动与口头表达作为输出与稳固。
