1、强调句强调句是为了突出句子的某一部分，以便能引起他人的注意。 一般而言，强调句几乎可以强调除谓语动词和作表语的形容词以 外的所有句子成分。强调句的结构：It is/was +被强调的部分+that+句子被强调以外 的部分。He reads English on the balcony every morning.对主语强调：It is he that reads English on the balcony every morning.对宾语强调：it is English that he reads on the balcony every morning.对地点，伏语强调 It is on

3、ogress. 对方式状语强调注意 注.强调句的谓语是is或wasoIt was yoursisterXht I met in the street yesterday.2 .不管被强调部分是哪种状语，只能用that连接，不能用where 或when等，强调事物时，也不能用which代替that.It was in the streetI met your sister yesterday.It was yesterday that I met your sister in the street.3 .被强调的部分是人时，可用who （主格或宾格）和whom （宾 格）代替that。It wa

5、ill） o that从句中的谓语动词 要用肯定式，且that引导句子要用陈述句语序，不可倒装。Money can t buy everything.强调句：It is not everything that money can buy.not放在强调词之前He didn t realize his rudeness until his father had told him. 强调句：It was not until his father had told him that he realized his rudeness.被强调部分（从句部分）He didn t arrive home u

6、ntil 9 o clock.强调句：It was not until 9 o c/ockthat he arrived.5.注意混淆强调句和其他句子。如果把句子it is/wasthat去掉，句子略作调整或不作调整仍然 是语法结构完整的句子，那么这个句子就是强调句。反之则就不 是强调句。It is exciting that we will have five days off for traveling.如果把句子中it is/wasthat去掉，句子结构则不完整,不是强 调句。It is we that will have five days off for traveling.如果把句

7、子it is/wasthat去掉,句子结构仍然完整,是强调句。强调原因状语从句要注意：若从句由as或since引导，强调句时 则改为because,这是因为because弓I导的原因从句表示的意义 非常强烈，符合强调句的目的。As it was rainy, we had to take a taxi home.强调句：It was because it was rainy that we had to take a taxi home.被强调部分（从句部分）强调复合句，当强调主句或从句时，要把那一个主句或从句一块 强调，that后面加剩下的其他句子。It was not until the

8、rain stopped that the farmers started the work. 被强调部分（从句部分）强调句的一般疑问句：直接把is或was提到it之前即可。Was it Tom that helped you with English?Was it in 1931 that the Second World War broke out?强调句的特殊疑问句：相当于对句子成分提问。特殊疑问词即时 被强调的成分。华寺殊疑问词（When/how/what/where/who/why） + is /was it+ that 十句子其他成分。When did you lose your

9、box? When was it that you lost your box?What did you have in your box? What was it that you had in your box?How did he manage to get the information?aHowwas it that he managed to get the information?Why were you late again?Why was it that you were late again?注：It is/was +被强调的部分+that+句子被强调以外的部分，这 一结构不可强调谓语，如果需要强调谓语时，用助动词do/does 或 did.Do stand up!务必要起立！He did visit you last week,上周他确实拜访你了。De be careful when you walk across the street.过马路时，务必 要小心啊！
