13、eath.Or they passmysteriously byunderground streams until they emerge andcombine into new forms that kill vegetation,sicken cattle,andwork unknown harm on those who drink from once pure wells.Mancan hardly even recognize the devils of his owncreation,as ascientist has said.3.Hundreds of millions of
14、years have passed before the globeproduced the life that now inhabits the earth.Giventime not inyears but in millennia life adjusts,and a balance has beenreached.But in the modern world there is no time.4.The quick steps of change follows the impetuous pace of manrather than the deliberate pace of n
15、ature.Radiation is now theunnatural creation of mans tampering with the atom.Thechemicals are the synthetic creations of mans inventivemind,having no counterparts in nature.5.To survive these chemicals would require not merely the yearsof one mans life but the life of generations.And eventhis,were i
