2、坐落于主要城市轴线的端点，将基地与高科技走廊、金鸡湖新开发以及更大的苏州工业园相联系。两大历史山丘坐镇，使得基地成为突出的视觉地标以及重要的文化与宗教胜地 Sasaki制定的愿景以基地自然与历史资源为基础，通过策略性地引进以造林以及展示现代艺术、创新为主的系列文化与市政机构将其转变为主要的文化目的地。这些机构通过滨水步道串联，每一个机构都有独特的美景作为衬托，并创造通向高新区的城市边缘。此愿景的一个重要方面是保护与提高现有生态与水文系统品质，提高现状基地内原封闭苗圃的通达性，将其与为周边居民提供的各种休闲以及运动机会相整合。总的来说，Sasaki的愿景试图实现现有生态系统、生机勃勃的公共空间以

3、及城市发展三方面的平衡2,500 years of historic and cultural traditions manifested in a series of classical gardens,pagodas,extensive canal net-works and institutions,have made Suzhou a prominent tourist destination.The establishment of the Suzhou Industrial Park(SIP)and the Suzhou New District Initiative with t

4、he emerging Hi-Tech corridor have catapulted Suzhou into a major economic generator with a rapidly growing demographic in the last decade.The Shishan site is located at the termination of a significant urban axis that connects the site and the hi-tech corridor to new developments at Jin Ji Lake and

5、the larger SIP District.The presence of two historic hills on the site make the site a prominent visual landmark and an important cultural and religious destination.Sasakis vision is to build on the natural and historic assets of the site and transform it into a primary cultural destination by the s

6、trategic introduction of a series of cultural and civic institutions aimed at fostering and showcasing contempo-rary arts,creativity and innovation.These institutions are connected by a waterfront promenade that give each of them a spectacular setting and create an urban edge towards the hi-tech dis

7、trict developments.A primary aspect of this vision is to also preserve and enhance existing ecological and hydrological systems and make the currently inaccessible nursery edge of the site more porous and integrated with multiple recreational and sports opportunities for surround-ing residents.Overa

17、an shows shi shan being as the urban periphery zone to surround the western edge.as suzhou new district(snd)first developed in 1994,shi shan surrounding areas become a more important public asset within a residential context as well as the backdrop of the shi shan road commercial core area.the site

18、then turned into a major amusement park in 1997 in which most suzhou residents share the common memory for two decades.the current control plan which was made in 2008 clearly shows the development zone at the current nursery location and turns the amusement park into a major open space.基地演变 最初的城市规划将

26、 a promi-nent visual and cultural landmark that should be protected,enhanced and made more accessible.currently,shishan road terminates into the entertainment park which prevents access to the rest of the site and obstructs views to the hill.it is critical to create a strong sense of arrival at the

27、termination of the shishan road axis and create open views to the hill and lake.the nursery on the west side of the hill is not easy to access and should be opened up and integrated with recreational and educational programs.城市背景 现状基地位于狮山路的起点，并且是围绕居住社区的新兴高新科技区与商业区的结合部，具有显著的区位优势。狮山是突出的地标与文化胜景，应着手保护，提

30、 inte-grated systems that support and re-inforce each other.together,they also create a scale for a significant cultural,recreation and mixed use interventions within a larger integrated ecological network.this is also critical for long term economic and ecological sustainability of the site.working

42、预措施展开，目的是创建一个有鲜明特色的场所，为不同人群带来丰富的体验。框架以基地生态与水文资源为基础，整合了多个现有开发 东部边界清晰的滨水走廊与各个文化与市政机构联系，一边连接市际公交与换乘站，另一边与艺术表演中心以及剧院建筑群相连 散步道与一系列城市广场相连，为周边的高新区与基地提供多个连接点 步道网络将漂浮平台与城市散步道相连，作为不同活动的场所。湿地栖息地修复湖泊生态并在步道与平台之间起到过滤中介的作用 在基地西边界，通过创建一系列植物园、户外雕塑公园与休闲场地提升苗圃品质并提高其通达性。虽然城市散步道为商业区所建，西边界的绿色空间为周边居民提供通向主要开放空间的机会 基地上的两个湖泊
