21、ertheworld.TheChinesepeopleadvocatethecloseinterlinkingofcollectivehumanrightswithindividualhumanrights,ofeconomic,socialandculturalrightswithcitizens”politicalrights.ThisistheroadwemusttakeforthecauseofpromotinghumanrightsinlightofChina”snationalconditions. TheChinesepeoplehavealwaysinsistedonindep

22、endence.Theycherishtherightsofindependencethattheyhavewonoveralongperiodofstruggle,andtheyresolutelyupholdtherightofallpeopletoenjoytheserights.Wealsobelievethateverycountryhastherighttochoosethesocialsystem,ideology,economicsystemandpathofdevelopmentthatsuititsnationalconditions.Countrieswithdiffer

23、entsocialsystemsshouldrespecteachother”ssovereigntyandterritorialintegrity;theyshouldtreateachotherasequalsandcoexistpeacefully.Weopposeanyeffortsbyanycountrytoimposeitsownsocialsystemandideologyonanothercountry. TheChinesepeoplehavealwayslovedfreedomandpeace.TheChinesepeoplehavesufferedgreatlyfromw

24、arsandinvasionsinmoderntimes,andtheyfeeldeeplyhowpreciouspeaceis.Asitengagesinmodernization,Chinaneedsapeacefulinternationalenvironment.Wehopethatallpeoplewillbeabletoliveinaworldwithoutwarandwithoutviolence.Chinacarriesoutaforeignpolicywithpeaceasitsgoal,andresolutelyopposesanyactsthatendangerworld
