6、Lotsofpeoplecametohelpthem.单元目标when,while 过去进行时1.概念:表示过去某个时刻或过去一段时 间正在进行的动作。2.句子结构:主语+was/were+doingsth.+时间状语3.时间状语词:at5:00yesterdayafternoon,atthattime,then 等连用,或者用另一动作来表示过去的时间。如:Theywereplayingbasketballwhenshearrived.Whiletheywereplayingbasketball,shearrived.过去进行时着重描述当时正在持续进行的动作,它的特点是:暂时,持续和未完成,强

9、et,consider,know,remember,hope,wish,want 等;表示所属关系的动词:belong,have,own,hold(容纳)等。区别:1.由when 引导的时间状语从句,主句用过去进行时,从句应用一般过去时;由while 引导的时间状语从句,主句用一般过去时,从句应用过去进行时。Whentheteachercamein,weweretalking.当此句改变主从句的位置时,则为:Whileweweretalking,theteachercamein.2.如果从句和主句的动作同时发生,两句都用过去进行时的时候,多用while 引导。如:Theyweresinging
