3、s well, but also writes music.她不仅很会演奏，而且还会 作曲。He not only writes his own plays, he also acts in them,他不仅是自编剧本， 还饰演其中的角色。He works not only on weekdays but on Sundays as well.他不仅平时工作, 星期日也工作。若连接两个成分作主语，其谓语通常与靠近的主语保持一致，即就近原则。 如：Not only you but also he has to leave.不只是你，他也得离开。(3)若连接两个句子，not only后面的句子要用

4、倒装，如：Not only did he speak more correctly,but he spoke more easily.他不仅说得更正确，而且讲得更不费劲了。2. take、spend cost pay的用法都可以表示“花费”，但用法却不尽相同：(1) spend的主语必须是人，常用于以下结构：spend time/money on sth.：在上花费时间(金钱)。如：I spent two hours on this maths problem.这道数学题花了我两个小时。9spend time/money (in) doing sth.：花费时间(金钱)做某事。如:They s

9、表示作品。如：He is making a study of William Faulkners works.他在研究威廉福克纳的 作品。/作不及物动词：1 .表示工作、劳动、干活(+at/on),如：She works in a restaurant.她在一家 饭店工作。2 .表示(机器等)运转、活动，如：The machine doesn t work.这个机器不运转 了。3 .表示起作用、行得通，如：Your suggestion works well.你的建议很有效。【语法重点】第十三单元的语法重点是：总结现在进行时，现在完成时、被动语态。 现在进行时表示现阶段或现在正在进行的动作。常

10、与now,these days等时间状语连用。另外, 句中有lookjisten等词暗示时，常用现在进行时。现在进行时谓语构成：is/am/are+动词的现在分词。现在完成时表示过去已经发生或完成的动作对现在造成的影响或结果；还可表示过去某一时 间开始并一直持续到现在，也许还要持续下去的动作或状态。常与 already,yet,before,so farjn the last three years,recently, “for+时间段”,“since+时间 点”等连用。现在完成时构成：have/has+动词的过去分词。l.-DadJthe station for minutes,but nobody came to meet me.-Dont worry.lll go to meet you soon.A.arrived atB.have been atC.will reach被动语态当没有或没必要指出动作的执行者或需要强调动作的承受者时，一般用被动语O被动语态谓语构成：be+动词的过去分词。
