Experts suggest it is natural for acquaintances and even friends to fall by the wayside as people move on from certain
3、stages and ages, it is not something that should make anyone feel guilty.According to Suzanne Degges-White, a professor of counselling at Northern Illinois University, as we grow older, our attention shifts, and we want to be around people who are like us. This is what she calls our friendscape. Whi
4、le changing friends is natural, we still need those special pals whove known us long term. These are friendships we invest time in. Inner-circle friends are your shoulders to cry on according to Robin Dunbar, a professor of evolutionary psychology at the University of Oxford, and you have to see the
5、m at least once a week to keep them in that circle. He adds that the friends that do drift are mostly “friendships of convenience”. To maintain good friendships, it is advisable to share how you feel with someone you trust. Not only does this help strengthen your friendship, but it also provides an
