1、英语国家概况B教学大纲课程编号：13014046课程名称：英语国家概况B English Speaking Countries B学 分：3学 时：48 (课内实验(践)：48 上机：0课外实践：0 )建议修读学期：第3学期一、课程性质、目的与任务本课程是英语专业基础课，主要介绍英国、美国、澳大利亚、新西兰和加 拿大的历史、地理、政治以及文化、教育、宗教、生活习俗等人文背景方面的基 本情况。本课程的教学目的使学生对几个主要英语国家的概况有所了解。The purpose of this course is to educate students on the culture and histor

2、y of the Western World, including but not limited to, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. Particular emphasis will be placed on the UK, Canada and America. During the course, the students will practice and are expected to improve upon their c

3、omprehensive English skills as well as their communicative English skills, especially reading, writing, listening, and speaking. 14、用全班授课形式。教师应归纳各章内容的要点，以讲座的形式向学生讲授。要求学生认真阅读教材，记忆基本概念，时实与数据，培养学生分析评 价问题的能力。每章内容结束后，教师应布置13个思考题以便学生复习巩固 所学知识。五、考核方式与成绩评定标准本课程采用闭卷考试形式。考试内容应包括该课各章节的内容。考题可采 用以下形式：填空、判断、名词解释、简答题、简述题。学生的平时作业成绩 可占总成绩的10%20%。六、教材与主要参考书目教材：朱永涛等.英语国家社会与文化入门.高等教育出版社，2005.主要参考书目：孟继友.英语学习背景知识（第三版）.北京大学出版社，2001.七、大纲编写的依据与说明参照2000年3月高等学校外语专业教学指导委员会英语组发布的高等学校 英语专业英语教学大纲、会计（合作培养）专业本科指导性培养方案（2016 版）、国际经济与贸易（合作培养）专业本科指导性培养方案（2016版）及大 学英语教学指南（讨论稿）中相关要求，结合我校实际情况制订本大纲。30日
