10、去时表示在过去发生的事情，其时间状语一般是表示在过去，如 yesterday, last week, an hour ago, in 1982 等等，这一点是其典型的特征。 虽然对于小学生来说，讲到的都是简单的一般过去时的构词和用法，但是实际上 在课外已经涉及到它很多形式的变化，我们可以将一般过去时的构成做一个系统 的划分：一、规则动词的过去式1 . 一般情况下，在动词原形后面加-ed； lookTooked, play-played, start- started2 .以不发音e结尾的动词，在词尾直接加-d； live-lived, use-used3 .以“辅音字母+y”结尾的动词,先将y

11、变为i,再加-ed； study-studied4 .以重读闭音节(辅音+元音+辅音)或r音节结尾，末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词，要先双写这个辅音字母后，再加-ed； stop-stopped, shop-shopped二、不规则动词的过去式1.改变动词中的元音begin-began, drink-drank, know-knew, get-got, come-came, eat-ate grow-grew, run-ran, win-won, speak-spoke, take-took, write-wrote 2.变词尾的d为tbuild-built, lend-lent, send-se

12、nt, spend-spent, bend-bent3 .与动词原形一样cut-cut, put-put, read-read, cost-cost, hurt-hurt4 .变ay为aid （少数动词）say-said, pay-paid, lay-laid5 .采用不用词根tell-told, sell-sold, teach-taught, buy-bought, catch-caught6 .其他am/is-was, are-were, have/has-had, do-did, go-went在六年级英语中出现的过去式的单词，在经过不断的练习后，学生都可以会 正确的改变它的形式，但是

13、伴随而来的问题就是这些单词的正确发音，很多学生 连最基本的一些发音都会出现错误，这点值得大家重视。下面就一般过去时的动 词加上“ed”后的读音进行一下分类：1. ed 加在清辅音后面,读/t/； looked, laughed, watched, helped2. ed 加在浊辅音或元音后面,读/d/； played, lived, showed, turned3. ed 加在/t/或/d/后面，读/id/； pointed, visited, wanted, shouted小学六年级中出现的一般过去时的学习，最主要的还是让学生把握以上的构 词变化和ed的读音两大方面，其实这也是最基本的两个方面。只有在起始阶段 让学生牢固掌握这两个方面，才能为接下来的学习做好铺垫。
