All he wants is a warm coat and some used clothing if anyone has some.We were all more than happy to fulfill this request and were told that he wore a size 2XL. None of us knew men who wore that size, so it was c

5、hallenging to take care of this quickly.It was a typically cold New York Christmas, and I couldnt imagine him without a coat. I shed some tears on the drive home, a combination of grateful tears for the blessings I had in my life and sad tears for this poor young man.I lay on the bed, sleepless and

7、ld feel obligated to lend him a hand. However, I could not put it out of my mind.The next morning, I hurried to the thrift shop. I went through every coat and jacket but found nothing even close to what I needed. As I headed toward the exit, I considered trying to find something in a department stor

However, a moment later, another woman came out of the back with wha

18、t looked like a brand-new downparka in her arms. She walked toward me and asked if I was the woman looking for the jacket in 2XL. When I said yes, she said, This was dropped in our overnight bin. Someone left it here between the time we closed last night and opened this morning. I just took it out.

19、It was the only thing in the bin. Is this what youre looking fdr?”It was perfect! I was stunned and could barely speak. Through my tears, I asked how much it was, and she said, Please, just take it!” I gave her twenty dollars and left feeling like I had been part of something bigger than just findin

20、g a coat. This was a Christmas miracle! There was certainly no other explanation for why I, a perfect stranger who had never even met this young man, was somehow charged with finding him a coat. Or why there just happened to be only one item, the perfect coat, left in the overnight bin of this thrif
