1、目的状语从句定义：目的状语从句用来表示动作或状态的目的、意图、目标.常出现在主句中的动词表示希望、要求、建议、命令、计划等动词之后,用来解释或说明这些动作或状态的目的。一起来看看目的状语从句连词：1. so that为了；以便于我带了伞，目的是为了不淋湿I brought my umbrella so that I wouldnt get wet. 她早点离开，以便能赶上火车She left early so that she could catch the train.2 in order that 为了 他们组建了一个学习小组，目的是互相帮助做作业They set up a study g

2、roup in order that they could help each other with their homework.我们需要赶紧，以便能够准时到达电影院We need to hurry in order that we arrive at the movie theater on time.注意：in order that是目的状语从句的连i ,后面连接的是句子in order to do是非谓语动词，后面接的是动词不定式。我努力学习是为了通过考试I study hard in order to pass my exams.（to后面接的是动词pass,且to后面不是完整句子）

3、I study hard in order that I may pass my exams.（that后面接的是个完整句子）3 in case万一,以免in case既可以表示目的，又可以做条件，所以2种状语从句中都有它.我们应该带把伞以免下雨.We should bring an umbrella in case it rains.请再次确认地址，以防我们迷路Please double-check the address in case we get lost.结果状语从句定义：结果状语从句是为了表达一个事件、行为或情况所导致的结果.1so.that太以至于注意：这里的so是个可以修饰程度

4、的副词,后面紧跟一个形容词/副词,表示程度 强弱,that后面连接从句，表示这个程度强弱所引发的结果.例：雨下得如此之大，以至于我们不得不取消旅行计划It was raining so heavily that we had to cancel the trip.我买了一些食物，这样我们明天就可以野餐了I bought some food so that we can have a picnic tomorrow.so.that中间可以加形容词/副词,而形容词/副词后面又可以加名词等进一步增加描述的内容。 他吃了太多水果，以至于晚上肚子疼He ate so many fruits that h
