2、h教学过程：Step 1: What is attributive clause?T: In this class, we are going to learn Attributive Clause with relative pronouns.(1) Firstly, we should figure out what the attribute is. Please look at this sentence.She is a cat.What do you think of this sentence? As for me, it is simple, even a little bit

3、 pale and boring. It just tells us one information, except that, we can know nothing more from it. What will the sentence be if we add something to it? Just like this:She is an orange cat.The cat with a beautiful orange fur is sitting there.The cat whose eyes are staring at you is orange.Are they mo

4、re meaningful and interesting? When you read these sentences, the image of the cat in your mind will be more and more vivid. Why?Because we have these red helpers here! They also show the different types of theattribute. Such as, in first sentence, the red word “orange is an adjective to be an attri

5、bute; in second sentence, the red part “with a beautiful orange fur” is a preposition phrase to be an attribute; in the last sentence, the red part is a sentence to be an attribute.Now, we can make a definition to attribute, which is ”用来修饰名词或者代词的成 分”.Then, lefs do the following exercise to practice.

6、找出下列句中的定语，并说出什么做定语及位置。1. Please give me the blue pen/ one.2. People in Qingdao are friendly.3. The smiling man bought a car made in China.4. 7、t we have known what the attribute is, then we need to make sure what the attributive clause is.从中文字面来看，从句二字先是从，表示跟从，跟从主句；句表示从句也是一 个句子，从句也有主谓宾或主系表这样的结构。定语从句的概念就是复合句中用来修饰名词或代词的句子。以下面两个例句为例She is an orange cat.The cat whose eyes are staring at you is orange.（3） The category of attributive clause.I hav

8、e an elder brother who is a doctor.（限制性定语从句）He sold his new car, which surprised me.（非限制性定语从句）Step 2: What does the attributive clause look like?Now, we take this sentence as an example to explain the structure of the attributive clause.The cat whose eyes are staring at you is orange.The cat:先行词，被定语

9、从句修饰，通常由n./ pron.来充当；whose:关系词，位于先行词之后，有三大功能：1.指代先行词；2 .连接主句与从句；3 .要在后面的从句中做成分（主/宾/表/定/状）eyes are staring at you:从句，位于关系词之后，特点：1.缺成分；2.修饰先行 词Now, lefs pay attention to the relative words（关系词），what are they?关系词：关系代词：who, whom, whose, that, which关系副词：when, where, whyIn this class, we just learn relati

Then, we are going to see how to use the relative pronouns.Step 3: How to use relative pronouns?1. who, whom, whose, that 用法区别(1) Who指人,作主语或宾语(作宾语可省略)The man (who) I talked with is our teacher.A person who steals things is called a thief.whom指人,作宾语(作宾语可省略，如介词提前则不能省)The man (whom/who) I

11、talked to is Mr. Li.The man to whom I talked is Mr. Li.that可以作定语从句的主语和宾语(可省略)。The man who/ that is speaking at the meeting is a worker.The woman (whom / that) they wanted to visit is a teacher.(4) whose作定语从句的定语(whose既可以指人，也可以指物).I know the girl whose mother is a teacher.I have a book whose cover is

12、bule.2. which, that 的用法which作定语从句的主语或宾语(可省略).This is a truck which/ that is made in China.作主语I like the book which/ that you bought yesterday.作宾语3. 只能用that的情况序数词或形容词最高级修饰先行词时Tom is the cleverest boy that I have ever known.This is the first play that I have seen since I came here.(2)先行词被 every, some,

13、 no, all, any, little, much 等修饰时。Ive read all the books (that/ which) you lend me.3） ) everything, something, nothing, all, anything, little, much 等不定代词作先彳亍词时Everything(that/which) we saw in this film was true.(4)先行词被 the only, the very, the same, the last 修饰时。This is the very book that belongs to h

14、im.(5)主句已有who或which时。Who is the girl that is standing under the tree?Which is the machine that we used last Sunday?(6)当先行词同时指人和物时Ive never heard of the people aed thingsthat you talked about just now.只用which不用that的情况1）非限制性定语从句中指物2）关系词前有介词3）指代前面整个句子4） 一个句子中含有两个定从，已使用一个关系代词that,另一则用whichFill in the bl
