1、Unit7 SectionB 2b Reading 教学设计Should I be allowed to make my own decisions?一、教材分析本课围绕主人公LiuYu”是否应该被允许做出自己的决定这一话题展开,给 出不同人物观点。通过课文学习,学生将学会不同意见的表达方式以及一些新词 汇,并进一步巩固宾语从句用法,从而能在日常生活中用英语恰当地表达自己的 观点,有效与他人沟通。二、教学目标(一)知识目标1 .Words and phrases to remember:support, enter, succeed, achieve, choice, taught, chan
2、ceget in the way, care about, make ones decision, be serious about, spend time on, achieve ones dream, have a chance to do sth etc.2 . Sentences to pay attention to:1) .He needs to think about what will happen if he doesnt end up as a professional runner.They always talk about what will happen if I
3、dont succeed.2) .Only then will I have a chance of achieving my dream.(二)能力目标1. Cultivate ones reading ability in two ways: read in paragraphs and read in whole.2. Learn to express ones opinion(三)情感目标Learn to arrange ones time on schoolwork and hobby properly by reading.三、教学重点、难点1 .表达意见的相关词汇及句型:get
4、in the way, care about, make ones decision, be serious about, spend time on, achieve ones dream, have a chance to do-etc.2 .学会表达自己的观点方式3 .阅读技能学习,侧重速读与精读技能学习,熟练运用到阅读过程中【设计理念】能够运用句型组织句子;并能通过语言知识,学会熟练表达自己的观点,达到 “练中学,学中用。”四、教学方法任务型语言教学法、自主探究、【设计理念】设计合理并具有挑战性的任务,让学生通过使用目标语言,体验成功之快乐; 运用各种学习活动,调动学生内在的学习动机。

Lead inShow the pictures of Li Yuchun and Liu Xiang and think about the following questions:1 )What are you going to be in the future?2)Do your parents agree with what you do?【设计理念】本环节我先通过出示李宇春、刘翔的图片,提出问题,引起学生兴趣,进而借 助梦想话题自然导入本课话题,激发学生探究欲望(Lead-in) oII. Task 1 New words and expressionsRead a
6、nd remember the new words and expressionsget in the way挡-的路,妨碍support v&n 支持succeed v成功,达到,完成 success nsuccessful adjachieve v完成,实现enter v进来,进去taught v teach的过去式或过去分词choice选择,挑选nchance机会【设计理念】此部分为词汇学习部分,通过认读、识记掌握新词,为以后的阅读环节扫除障 碍,便于更好地理解课文。III.
