11、s good brain.(3)连用物主代词时，用单数形式或复数形式均可。如:Use your brain (s).动动脑子吧。My brain is too dull.我的脑子太笨。Where? s your brains?你的脑子到哪里去了(即你怎 么不动动脑子)？(4)受much, little修饰时，从理论上说应该用单数 形式，但在实际运用中，有时也可用复数形式(因为brains 习惯上被视为不可数名词)。如：He hasn t got much brain. 他没什么头脑。He has very little brains, 他没什么头脑。die of与die from有何区别表示死

12、的原因，其后通常接介词。f或红。叫 其区别大 致为：(1)若死因存在于人体之上或之内(主要指疾病、衰老 等自身的原因)，一般用介词ofo如：die of illness (heart trouble, cancer, a fever, etc) 死于疾病(心脏病、癌症、 发烧等)(2)若死因不是存在人体之内或之上，而是由环境造成 的(主要指事故等方面的外部原因)，一般用介词from。如：die from an earthquake (a traffic accident, alightning, a stroke, etc)死于地震(交通事故、雷击等)(3)若死因是环境影响到体内，即两方面共有

13、的原因, 则可用of, from均可。如：die of from a drink ( a wound, overwork, starvation, hunger and cold, etc)死于饮酒(受伤、劳 累过度、饥饿、饥寒等)但是在实际运用中，两者混用的情况较多。many、much、a lot of 的用法区别、many、 much、 a lot of 的用法many意思是“很多”，与可数名词复数连用；much意思是“很多”，与不可数名词连用。a lot of既可与可数名词连用，也可与不可数名词连用。它们在句中可作主语、宾语和定语等。如：I dont have many friends

14、here.在这里我没有很多的朋友Many died in the bus accident.许多人在公交车祸中丧失There was a lot of mud on the ground.地上有许多泥。二、many、 much、 a lot of 的区别1)many和much的区别在于many +可数名词，much +不可数名词。如：How many people are there at the meeting?会议中有多少人？How much time has we left?他离开多久了？Many of the workers were at the meeting.许多工人在会议中Mu

15、ch of the time was spent on learning.花许多时间在学习上。He has many friends, but few true ones.他有许多朋友，但靠谱的却没几个。There hasnt been much good weather recently.最近都不是什么好天气。2) a lot of (=lots of)和 many、much 区别在于它们只 能用在肯定句中，而many, much不受限制。如果将一个含有a lot of (=lots of)的肯定句改为否定 句或疑问句，要将它们改为many或much。如：We can see a lot of birds in the tree.We cant see many birds in the tree.我们在树上看不到很多鸟儿。He wants lots of soda.
