(作主语补足语)Tired and hungry, he had to stop working. （作原因状语，多放在句首）He sat at the station alone, cold and hungry. （作伴随状语，多放在句末）形容词的位置及排列顺序(1)形容词修饰something,anything,nobody等不定代词时,形容词放在名词后面。 Ihavesomethingimportanttotellyou. 14、thinginterestinginthefilm?(2)用and或or连接起来的两个形容词（形容词短语）作定语时一般把它们放在被修饰的名词后面，起进一步解释的作用。 Everybody,manandwoman,oldandyoung,shouldattendthemeeting. Youcantakeanyboxaway,bigorsmall. (3)the+形容词表示一类人或物 Therichshouldhelpthepoor. (4) 形容词可分为性质形容词和叙述形容词。叙述形容词只能作表语，所以又称表语形容词。这类形容词没有级的变化，可以用程度副词修饰，修饰名词时要后置。这类词大多以a

15、-开头，如afraid, alone, asleep, alive, awake, alike, ill, well, glad, pleased, fond, sorry如：The man is asleep.=He is a man asleep.（不能表述为He is an asleep man.）(5) 多个形容词修饰同一名词时的顺序是固定的，其顺序为： 谐音口诀：县（限定词）官（外观）行（形状）令（年龄、新旧）宴（颜色）国（国籍、出处）才（材料）具体对应：限定词（冠词、指示代词、不定代词、物主代词）+序数词/基数词+一般性描绘形容词（表示评价）+外观（大小、长短）+形状+年龄、新旧+

16、颜色+国籍、出处+材料+用途+最终修饰的名词。例如：a beautiful little red flower the seven ugly steel writing desks I have a big round red wooden Chinese table. a beautiful small round old yellow French wooden reading room12. 复合不定代词包括：指人：someone, somebody, anyone, anybody, everyone, everybody, no one, none, nobody指事物：someth

17、ing, anything, everything, nothing, none注意点：（1）用定语修饰复合不定代词时，定语要放在复合不定代词后面，作后置定语。如：I have nothing important to do today. 我今天没什么重要的事情要做。（2）指人的复合不定代词作主语时，谓语动词一般用单数，相应的人称代词用they, them，如：If anybody comes, ask them to wait. 如果有人来，叫他等着。指事物的复合不定代词作主语时，谓语动词只能用单数，相应的人称代词只能用it，如：Everything is ready, isnt it? 一
