3、的描述，以提升自己的语言表达和运用能力。教学 重点1 .引导学生能够识别句子中由关系代词引导的定语从句，并理解定语从句对丰富句子内容和描 述事物特征、补充信息的功能；2 .引导学生掌握由关系代词引导的定语从句得用法。教学 难点引导学生准确得体地运用由关系代词引导的定语从句。教 学 内 容 与 过 程Lead-in老师通过展示一些含有定语从句的句子，带领学生回顾初中学习过的有关定语从句的 知识以及作用。Step 1 Presentation(1)让学生阅读活动1的任务要求，然后根据初中时学习过的定语从句的知识，找出 句子中的定语从句。(2)教师通过教学软件或板书呈现这些句子，然后通过下列问题引导

4、学生思考定语从 句的修饰和限定作用。Translate the sentences into Chinese. Think about which noun is modified by the relative clause. Why do we use the relative clause? What if relative clauses are not used in these sentences?(3)让学生回看Reading and Thinking部分的阅读文本，找出文本中的定语从句，然 后和同桌互相核对并翻译这些句子，最后找出这些从句所修饰的先行词。(4)老师将学生在Rea

5、ding and Thinking部分的阅读文本中找到的含有定语从句的句 子呈现出来，把它们与，舌动1中的句子放在一起，让学生按关系代词进行分类，并在 小组内讨论其用法，然后说出定语从句的使用规律。最后教师补充并总结。Step 2 Practice(1)让学生完成活动2,用that, which, who, whose, whom或完成句子，并试 着翻译这些句子。备注(2)让学生完成 P90 Workbook 中的活动 1,用 that, which, who, whose, whom 填 空。(3)让学生完成P90 Workbook中的活动2,用限制性定语从句合并句子。(4)让学生完成 P90 Workbook 中的活动 3,用 that, which, who, whose 或 prep+whom 将篇章补充完整。Step 3 Production(1)让学生阅读活动3的任务要求和对话示例，随后结对完成活动3,最后在班内展ZjS o(2)让学生完成P90 Workbook中的活动4,用限制性定语从句丰富文章内容。Step 4 HomeworkDraw a mind map to summarize the rules of restrictive relative clauses with relative pronouns.
